Happy New Year {Atlanta}

What's up everyone,

The new year is upon us and I am looking forward to what 2012 has in store! I had the opportunity to cover some amazing events during this year and flex my creative muscles beyond what even I could imagine. So, I look forward to differentiating my business this coming year and opening up to some new photographic challenges. Don and his family were way cool to work with and it was on location....yes their back yard is this scenic. I have known Don for years and it was a pleasure to photograph his family.

How's everything in love and life? Well, if your family reunion is anything like the one we had the honor of documenting this weekend...you've got it pretty good. Newtown Park served as the backdrop for the event and wow did they have a great turnout. One of my favorite things about family reunions is the wisdom of the older generations and the fresh outlook of the new. Cheryl and I are constantly blessed in this arena because we are always in the mist of love and family at every event we document. Take a look!

I know everything is good in love and life for you all. I haven't updated my blog in a minute...it has been crazy busy and the folks coming into my studio have been bringing on the creativity. Joshua and Kimberly's engagement session was just 2 weeks ago. They tied the knot on this Saturday the 5th and and I had a blast capturing their big day or I should say evening at the 1420 Room in Atlanta. Enough said...

Snow in Hotlanta...On Christmas? Wow!

Hello Everyone, I know everything is great in love and life. What a wonderful Christmas it has been this year! I had a great time with my family and friends. We had snow in Atlanta, GA and I was not going to miss the chance to get out shoot some landscape images in one of my favorite places just north of the city in Alpharetta and Milton and I want to share this wonder with you guys because we have not had snow on Christmas day in the Atlanta area since 1892.

Also, on Christmas Eve we spent the evening with a wonderful family in Marietta capturing some lifestyle family portraits and we caught this one of Fredrick & Tori and their two beautiful girls.

Cobb County...It's Not Over Yet, Runoff Vote 11/16 thru 11/30

Hello everyone, I know I am a little early on the blog thing this month, but I need to take a moment to make sure I introduce you to Angela Brown. Most folks think the election is over, but in Cobb County, GA, there will be a runoff election for Cobb County State Court Judge starting 11/16/2010.

Now, I know you're saying she must be one of his clients, and your assumption would be right on target. But, Angela Brown by far is the most qualified candidate for this position! But, I did take the picture!

Election Day was a great success for Angela, she received almost 62,000 votes and surged ahead of the closest competitor by almost 30,000 votes. Now it's time to make the run-off election an even greater success!

She needs your vote because whoever gets the most votes in a runoff wins. We are about to make history in Cobb County and she cannot do it without you. VOTE. VOTE. VOTE.

Early Vote the Mon, Tues, and Wed before Thanksgiving. You can even go to Cobb Main Elections Office on WHITLOCK avenue and vote starting TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 16, 2010.

Kevin & LaJauna - MBS Studio Session

Hello everyone, I know everything is great in love and life for you. This past week I have been playing catchup and finishing up on workflow for a few sessions which have included weddings, engagements, and a charity event. I, however, wanted to share with you a studio session I had with Kevin and LaJauna. I documented their engagement and wedding story a couple of years ago and they are as radiant as the first day I worked with them. Over the past few years I have documented over 35 "Love Stories," Kevin and LaJauna's is still one of my favorites. I have also included one of my favorite images from their engagement!

I have to start off by saying...This has been an awesome fall. The weather here in Atlanta has been absolutely been nothing short of incredible for me! So, I guess you now know that I love to schedule photo sessions and shoot weddings in the Fall. Also, I am dedicating the month of October to Jade and Kelsey in my studio...These two exhibit a love that has a crazy-cool energy and it was fun to get to spend some time and get to know them. I am headed to Savannah to shoot this wedding in the Spring...I am sure it is going to be a great event. So, with no further hesitation...here's just a glimpse! Enjoy.
